The is the beautiful view of the trees and the countryside as Janelle and I leave my Mom -in -law's house in Hockinson. I actually took this picture last weekend, but we go up there every Sunday. We meet her and my husband up there for a visit. Rick heads up there early and does some chores for her, stocks up her wood box, etc...
In case you are wondering ... yes I still have my cold. I did the hot water soak and the cold cotton sock, covered by the wool sock. It drove me nuts, but I stuck it out until 5:00 AM. At first I thought ... wow, I do feel better. Then as I layed in bed and fell asleep and then woke up again, I realized it was the same as yesterday :( But the good thing about this cold is that I am not so stuffy that I can't breathe. Just lots of sneezing and kleenex business while I feel drained and lazy. So glad there is no school tomorrow. So, here I sit in my classy flannel jammie bottoms, and my Washington State sweatshirt. I am feeling really comfy, as I just finished a Strawberry Surf Rider - Jamba Juice, which I had the biggest craving for today. I haven't had Jamba Juice in years. I think it was a good choice for me since I am now content and I also had them add an immunity booster ... hope it helps!
Hockinson is one of my favorites...beautiful and quiet countryside!!
