Paper Cupcakes 2

My name is Cindy and I have been married to my wonderful husband Rick for 15 years. We have a beautiful daughter - Janelle who is 13. Janelle is an amazing girl. She was born at 4 lbs and has come a long way. At any given time you can ask who her best friend is and she will say "Mommy". I just LOVE her to pieces!

We also have 2 furry felines in our home. NOEL who is 5 and our newest addition is Katie, who was 6weeks old when we adopted her 2 weeks before Christmas 2008. We love our fluffy little newbie and are feeling pretty complete. NOEL on the other hand hasn't quite baked a pie to welcome her, but they are starting to be buddies now.

I am a special education staff assistant for 4th/5th graders.There is never a dull moment in our classroom, but the kids are amazing and it is quite a rewarding position. I was alo lucky enough to have added 2 hrs working as an assistant in Kindergarten, which I totally LOVE! Those kids are adorable and really are my end of the day, breath of fresh air! :)

I have finally decided to share some of my fun, and crazy thoughts with you in my blog. This is all new to me so who knows just what I might say, which really scares me. I guess that is why I like the saying ... "Dear Lord, please put your arm across my shoulder and your hand over my mouth".

I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator for over 5 years. I love the ability to share some great card ideas as well as techniques with my friends. I have a wonderful group of ladies who I adore. The time we spend stamping is always so therapeutic. I get to spend time with ladies who love doing what I love.

I also have many other hobbies that you may see here on my brand new blog!
I love to pull on my jammie bottoms, grab a cup of hot chocolate on a chilly day and reach for my knitting needles or crochet hook. My latest friend is the Knifty Knitter ... what a great knitting tool. I have already made a hat that our December snoman was sporting around Christmas time!

Janelle loves to bake goodies, so we are often in the kitchen whipping up something ... possibly cupcakes which are Janelle's favs. I do plan to try my hand at some mosiac tiling when the weather gets a little nicer, and I also hope to get cracking on my scrapbook pages that often get set aside for other days.
