They're here!

I have been on a mission, looking for new shoes.
I really wanted another pair on Keen's which I LOVE! I just couldn't find a pair that I thought would look nice with nice pants, and be comfy enough to wear to work.

I never thought I would ever order a pair of shoes on line, but I found a great on line source. It is off of Amazon, called TheShoePlanet.com. I ordered a pair of Doc Marten's, and a few days later here they are.

My husband said they were the ugliest pair of shoes he has ever seen. After all that love and support for my new shoes ... I wore them out and about for some errands today and I think they are gonna work for me. (PS ... I don't like HIS shoes either!)

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Janelle asked if I could make some cupcakes for her class for St. Patrick's Day ... she chose chocolate ... or brown cupcakes as she calls them, with green frosting.

I did nothing out of the ordinary for these cupcakes, just the usual ... Pampered Chef Easy Accent Decorator. However we did have some fancy, dancy sprinkles we cracked open just for these cupcakes. Rebecca gave them to Janelle with a cake mix, frosting, and these cute little window boxes that hold cupcakes.

Well, at first I thought, pfftt, who gives cupcakes away? Oh yeah we do, so I found that the box fits the extra five cupcakes perfectly!

I do hope her class enjoys all those green cupcakes today!

Tulips for Classified week ...

Last week was classified week at the school I work at.

Not only do I just love tulips, but I was surprised to see tulips on my desk for me from the Kindergarten teacher I was an assistant for, for a couple of months.

When I thanked her for the flowers I did share with her that I enjoyed her class and I couldn't believe I got to work in Kindergarten AND get paid for it!

Seriously ... Then I told her shhhh :)

Cute kids - I miss them already!

Clark Skamania FlyFisher's donation ...

This is my 2nd year donating to the Clark Skamania Flyfisher's, for their annual banquet and silent auction.

It will be held at the Heathman Lodge in Vancouver, on March 21st.

I have donated 4 sets of 4 cards and envies in our SU cello bags. The background shows the cute little gift bag they fit in perfectly.

Good luck to the auction and I hope many people sign up to win my cards!
Fish on!

My card class on Wednesday was small but fun and relaxing! I even stamped with the ladies.

The owner of the bikini bottom card was thrilled that this card was being made in honor of her tush and the very exciting and well deserved trip she is taking it on real soon!

Cheep Talk was made with Pacific Point Blue and Good Morning Sunshine designer paper. Branch Out was a fun card to make, using celery designer papers of our choice. Party Hearty was a mix of Only Orange cardstock and Pixie Pink with kiwi designer paper, and the cute little bikini bottom was designed with Blush cardstock and Hawaiian Papaya designer paper.

Hello March!

Yes we are a little closer to spring which makes me happy and sad. For those of you who know me really well, I just LOVE the winter months. I hate to see our chances of snow going away, even though we did get more than our fair share of snow this year!
I do have to say that I love the spring months as well. Mostly because of Easter dinner we have at our house for the Grandparents and because
of our family Easter egg hunt at Aunt Debbie and Uncle David's house.
While talking to Debbie on the phone a week or so ago she commented on how she just hates to fill the eggs with money. This is when I opened my gigantic trap and said "ohhh I will fill them for you!" She really didn't hesitate at all before she said "OK".
So last night my aunt and unlce stopped by with a HUGE Rubbermaid trunk full of eggs, more eggs and more eggs! A box of money and I am thinking, possibly a sigh of relief as David happily put the trunk of eggs in my living room and scurried out the door ... maybe before I change my mind!
So, I have to say, I do think it will be fun, but I haven't started it yet. After tonight's card class I will have my evenings free to start filling eggs!
