Here is my first attempt (this yr ... we won't talk about the experience last year) with mosiac tiling on flower pots.The blue and yellow plates I found for pretty cheap at Paws & Claws. A great way to support those animals!
I do have all the tools for mosiacs, but I decided to put the plates in a gallon size ziplock bag and drop them a few times outside. I then mashed the big chunks with a screwdriver cuz I was too lazy to go get the hammer out of our shed. As I smashed these pieces, I think my daughter thought I had lost it. Possibly I have!
Anyhoo, I have them all glued down, in rows, which isn't really how you do it, but I was only using two colors for a starter project, so that is how I chose to do it. Next time I will add more colors!
The adhesive needs to dry for 24 hrs, so I will be able to grout tomorrow.
